- Mediated Divorce: This allows couples to negotiate the terms of their marital issues with the help of an unbiased third party in an effort to reach agreements that work best for both of them. When arrangements are made, the mediator can present them to court to be approved.
- Collaborative Divorce: This is a series of four-way meetings where spouses are joined by their attorneys to help settle their future arrangements for their marital issues.
- Arbitration: While this process also involves a third party, instead of acting as a mediator, they act as a judge. They make all the final decisions relating to marital issues for the spouses.
