Allison has been practicing law since 2001 when she graduated from Fordham University School of Law. Since 2002, she has devoted her practice exclusively to matrimonial and family law matters. Allison has handled complicated matters ensuring a positive resolution for each of her clients. She is passionate about her work and ensures that each client receives individual attention explaining the nuances to each client while working to help her clients take the next step forward in their personal lives. Allison is also a trained family law mediator, and has received training in collaborative law, and provides mediation services to assist parties in reaching a mutual resolution of their family and matrimonial issues. Allison appears on the state roster as a Parenting Coordinator and takes the responsibility of helping to guide and coach parents in conflict seriously in an effort to establish better and more effective communication strategies. She has also worked as a Guardian Ad Litem for children.

Divorce and its related legal matters can be among the most difficult times in a family’s life. Allison understands a divorce may not be the end of the relationship for many families. For that reason, Allison strives to help her clients achieve amicable solutions to their legal issues. While it is generally her goal to obtain harmonious resolutions, Allison aggressively advocates on behalf of her clients when the other side is uncooperative. She values clear communication with her clients about their goals and how the legal process works and helps them to address their short and long-term needs.

Allison is a panelist in both Union and Middlesex Counties for the county ESP (early settlement panel) calendar. Allison is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Union County Bar Association. She is a member of the New Jersey Collaborative Law Group. Allison was also a contributing author on the ICLE publication, the Yudes Family Law Citator, from 2002-2010, a yearly treatise that is utilized by almost all family and matrimonial attorneys in the State of New Jersey. She has also volunteered her time at the County College of Morris Women’s Clinic, providing legal advice and insight at the divorce clinics, as well as speaks at various different locations on issues such as custody, parenting time, alimony and equitable distribution. Allison is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York and the United States District Court for the State of New Jersey.

In 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015, Allison was recognized as a “New Jersey Super Lawyers – Rising Stars” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, as well as being recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by the same publication in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Allison has received various other awards, including but not limited to: 2025 Best New Jersey lawyer for families and 2025 Best Lawyer in Family Law Mediation; 2014 “Top 10 Attorney Under 40” in Northern New Jersey by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys; 2014 and 2015’s “10 Best Under 40” by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys, and “Top 100 Member” of the TheNationalAdvocates.org website. She has also received the Avvo Clients’ Choice Award several times and received a Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion Award in 2020.
