Melissa E. Gluck, Esq.

Melissa brings over a decade of dedicated experience in family law, with a career rooted in advocacy, compassion, and a commitment to justice. She earned her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law in 2011, where she served as Note and Comment Editor for the International Law Review and gained hands-on experience as a student attorney with the Women and the Law Clinic, representing clients in matters involving domestic violence, divorce, custody, and child support. She was also honored as a Washington College of Law JD Distinguished Fellowship Recipient.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Brandeis University in 2008, where she was awarded the Marcia Block Epstein ’55 Prize for her demonstrated commitment to social justice.

Following law school, Melissa served as Assistant Regional Director for the Anti-Defamation League’s Washington, D.C. Regional Office. In this role, she oversaw the region’s civil rights portfolio and investigated complaints involving hate crimes and discrimination—further strengthening her skills as both an advocate and investigator.

After relocating to New Jersey in 2014, Melissa clerked for the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., in the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey. There, she worked on all aspects of family law, including domestic violence, non-dissolution, and pre- and post-judgment matrimonial matters. Since 2015, Melissa has devoted her practice exclusively to family law as an associate at boutique matrimonial firms in Essex and Morris Counties. In January 2024, she joined Ross & Calandrillo, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a reputation for compassionate yet strategic representation. Melissa has been recognized amongst colleagues as a Super Lawyers Rising Star*, from 2018 through 2025.

Melissa is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Maryland. She is an active member of the Family Law Sections of both the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Union County Bar Association, as well as the Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She also serves as a Family Law Early Settlement Panelist (ESP) in Morris County.

In addition to her professional roles, Melissa is deeply committed to service within the legal community and beyond. She previously volunteered as an attorney with the Morris County Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project (BWLAP) and has been appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve as an Investigator for the Union County District Ethics Committee.

Above all, Melissa understands that family law matters are not only legal disputes but also deeply personal and emotional experiences. She approaches every case with empathy, patience, and a measured approach, working closely with clients to understand their unique goals and concerns. Whether guiding someone through a difficult divorce, protecting a parent’s relationship with their child, or ensuring a client’s safety in matters of domestic violence, Melissa provides both strong legal advocacy and compassionate support. Her clients can count on her to stand by them during their most challenging times, offering clarity, direction, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome.
