New Jersey Divorce and Family Law Attorney
Robyn was determined to be an attorney since she was seven years old. Robyn’s powers of persuasive argument led to many childhood victories, including a separate bedroom from her sister, and occasionally, higher allowance. Robyn’s early sense of career direction led to her persistent focus on academics. Robyn is a proud graduate of Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey. After high school, Robyn attended The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College) and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Law and Justice, with a minor in Spanish. During her time at The College of New Jersey, Robyn cultivated her passion for serving the community, undertaking and organizing numerous community service projects on campus. Robyn also volunteered her time at the Hyacinth AIDS Foundation.
After taking a year to work in a New York law firm prior to law school, Robyn was more sure than ever that she wanted to dedicate herself to the practice law. Robyn was awarded her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University in 2006. Since her admission to the New Jersey bar, Robyn has practiced exclusively in the area of family law. Robyn’s high level of experience is evidenced by her certification by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, a distinction held by only 2 percent of her peers. Robyn was also appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the District XB Attorney Ethics Committee and subsequently appointed to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character. Additionally, Robyn is an approved family law mediator pursuant to New Jersey Court Rule and has completed the additional training to serve as an economic mediator for divorces involving domestic violence. This means that Robyn is not only a skilled litigator, but is also able to utilize her experience and skill to bring families to an amicable resolution of their family law issues without the need for litigation. Robyn’s wide range of skills provide you with the options that you need to bring your family law matter to a successful closure.
In addition to the practice of law, Robyn is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Union County Bar Association. Robyn has previously served as the co-chair of the Family Law Executive Committee for the Essex County Bar Association. Robyn has trained to volunteer for the Jersey Battered Women’s Service and has provided service to the Early Settlement Panel programs in Essex and Morris counties.
Robyn is honored to have been included on New Jersey Family Magazine’s 2020 “Best Lawyers for Families” list and recognized as a Superlawyer Rising Star for the past several years, including 2020.- – awards methodology
When Robyn is not serving her clients or the community, she enjoys cooking, travel, and outdoor jogging.
