Unfortunately, many divorces are impacted by issues of domestic violence. In New Jersey, our courts have made a commitment to ensure that these cases are not barred from utilizing the process of mediation. Mediation is an often less costly and more efficient alternative to litigation. However, the courts have also realized that in order to effectively mediate cases involving domestic violence, the mediator must have specialized training and a complete understanding of the psychology of abuse. We are proud to announce that Partner, Robyn E. Ross, in her continued dedication to domestic violence issues, has successfully completed the required training to serve as an economic mediator in divorce cases involving domestic violence. We congratulate and commend Robyn for this important accomplishment!
